The Bishop O'Dowd Dragons volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Cardinal Newman Cardinals to 1 in the Dragons non-league victory on Saturday.
The Dragons now possess a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Ridge for a non-league game on Saturday, September 3. Bishop O'Dowd will meet a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-0.
The Cardinals (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Justin-Siena (Napa, CA). The Braves enter the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Justin-Siena nipped St. Patrick-St. Vincent (Vallejo, CA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
