In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Bloomington Purple Raiders volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Highland Bulldogs.
The Purple Raiders (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Mater Dei (Breese, IL). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Mater Dei achieved victory over Dunlap (Dunlap, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Glenwood Titans (Chatham, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 3. Highland will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Titans come into the battle with a 3-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Freeburg (Freeburg, IL).
