In Saturday's non-league contest, the Briarwood Christian Lions (Birmingham, AL) volleyball squad were winner over the host Central Red Devils (Phenix City, AL), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Lions battle the Providence Christian Eagles (Dothan, AL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 3. Briarwood Christian will attempt to better on its 19-5 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 0-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Evangel Christian (Alabaster, AL).
