Illinois High School Volleyball - Trinity can't hold off Coal City

September 3, 2022: Coal City, IL 60416

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Coal City Coalers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Trinity Blazers.

The Coalers (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Manteno (Manteno, IL). The Panthers come into the Illinois Central Eight battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Manteno was edged by Newark (Newark, IL), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Blazers encounter the Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 3. Trinity will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record.
