The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Community Braves (Nevada, TX) and the host Leonard Tigers (Leonard, TX), saw Community's volleyball squad nip Leonard by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Community upgrades its record to 15-6 on the year. The Braves host Panther Creek (Frisco, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 6. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 7-13. Panther Creek won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Denison (Denison, TX)

The Tigers now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Prairiland for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 7. Leonard will play a Patriots squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Bells (Bells, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 18-8.
