The Coronado Islanders volleyball team (Coronado, CA), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Elsinore Tigers (Wildomar, CA)

The Tigers (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Holtville (Holtville, CA). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 8-0 record. In their last challenge, Holtville defeated Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Islanders encounter the Rancho Buena Vista Longhorns (Vista, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 3. Coronado will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to La Sierra (Riverside, CA).
