The Fremd Vikings volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Maine South Hawks to 0 in the Vikings non-league victory on Saturday.
The Vikings now have a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buffalo Grove for a Mid-Suburban game on Thursday, September 8. Fremd will meet a Bison team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL). The Bison record now stands at 3-5.
The Hawks (5-8) will now prepare for their game against Resurrection (Chicago, IL). The Bandits enter the non-league game with a 1-8 record. In their last game, Resurrection dropped by Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
