In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Metea Valley Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Glenbard North Panthers.
The Mustangs (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Willowbrook achieved victory over Trinity (River Forest, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Panthers clash with the West Chicago Wildcats (West Chicago, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 3. Glenbard North will attempt to advance on its 6-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 3-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Metea Valley (Aurora, IL).
