California High School Volleyball - Monterey Trail nudged by Granite Bay

The Granite Bay Grizzlies volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Monterey Trail Mustangs to 1 in the Grizzlies non-league victory on Saturday.

The Grizzlies now possess a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amador for a non-league game on Saturday, September 3. Granite Bay will meet a Buffaloes team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Sonora (Sonora, CA). The Buffaloes record now stands at 1-1.

The Mustangs (0-7) will now prepare for their game against Summit Shasta (Daly City, CA). The Black Bears enter the non-league game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Summit Shasta nipped Crystal Springs Uplands (Hillsborough, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
