The Wildcats (15-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Montgomery Catholic (Montgomery, AL). The Knights come into the 3A Area 6 challenge with a 10-7 record. In their last challenge, Montgomery Catholic defeated Prattville Christian Academy (Prattville, AL), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Patriots encounter the Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 6. Homewood will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA).
