Texas High School Volleyball - Midland Christian can't hold off Regents

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Regents Knights volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Midland Christian Mustangs.
The Knights (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against St. Stephen's Episcopal (Austin, TX). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, St. Stephen's Episcopal was edged by St. Michael's (Austin, TX), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Mustangs clash with the Brownwood Lions (Brownwood, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 9. Midland Christian will attempt to advance on its 22-6 season record. The Lions come into the battle with a 2-10 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Gatesville (Gatesville, TX).
