The Pana Panthers topped the visiting Mt. Vernon Rams volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Panthers now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Neoga for a non-league test on Saturday, September 3. Pana will confront a Indians team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Arcola (Arcola, IL). The Indians record now stands at 3-2.
The Rams (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Centralia (Centralia, IL). The Orphans enter the South Seven test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Centralia gained a win over Woodlawn (Woodlawn, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
