In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Simon Kenton Pioneers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Shelby County Rockets.

The Pioneers (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Oldham County (Buckner, KY). The Colonels come into the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Oldham County lost by Presentation (Louisville, KY), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Rockets encounter the Bullitt Central Cougars (Shepherdsville, KY) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 6. Shelby County will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record.
