In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Valencia Jaguars volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Thoreau Hawks.
The Jaguars (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM). The Sundevils come into the non-league battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Espanola Valley went down by Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Hawks encounter the Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy Eagle (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 6. Thoreau will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Eagle come into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Santa Fe Prep (Santa Fe, NM).
