California High School Flag Football - Amador Valley thwarted by Granada

September 3, 2024: Livermore, CA 94550

Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA) fans went home in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Amador Valley Dons (Pleasanton, CA), 19-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Granada improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Matadors host Tracy (Tracy, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 5. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 3-0. Tracy won 20-12 in their recent non-league battle against Escalon (Escalon, CA)

The Dons now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 5. Amador Valley will play a Lions team coming off a 20-6 non-league loss to San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA). The Lions record now stands at 2-1.
