California High School Flag Football - Hughson nudges Central Valley

September 3, 2024: Hughson, CA 95326

In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Hughson Huskies flag football squad scored a close 18-14 triumph over the Central Valley Hawks.

The Huskies (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Ceres (Ceres, CA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Ceres tipped El Capitan (Merced, CA), 32-28, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Hawks confront the Mariposa County Grizzlies (Mariposa, CA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, September 4. Central Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Grizzlies come into the match with a 1-5 record after their 35-13 non-league loss to Orestimba (Newman, CA).
