With the triumph, Badger advances its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Braves host Grand Valley (Orwell, OH) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league test on Monday, September 9. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 2-0.

The Tigers now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crestview for a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. Springfield will clash with a Rebels team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Pymatuning Valley (Andover, OH). The Rebels record now stands at 2-1.
