Grainger Grizzlies (Rutledge, TN) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Cherokee Chiefs (Rogersville, TN), 5-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Grainger moves its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Claiborne (New Tazewell, TN) to clash with the Bulldogs in a AA District 2 test on Thursday, September 5. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 2-4. Claiborne won 10-1 in their recent non-league test against Knox Central (Barbourville, KY)

The Chiefs now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they host Unicoi County for a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. Cherokee will clash with a Blue Devils team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Tennessee (Bristol, TN). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-6.
