Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Connersville Spartans (Connersville, IN) and the visiting Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN), saw Connersville's soccer squad triumph over Union County by a count of 9-0.

The Spartans (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against East Central (St. Leon, IN). The Trojans enter the Eastern Indiana battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, East Central notched a victory over South Dearborn (Aurora, IN), 8-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Patriots battle the Batesville Bulldogs (Batesville, IN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 7. Union County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 6-1 record after their 2-1 league win over South Dearborn (Aurora, IN).
