Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Norton Panthers (Norton, OH) and the visiting Northwest Indians (Canal Fulton, OH), saw Norton's soccer squad knock off Northwest by a count of 3-1.

The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Cloverleaf (Lodi, OH). The Colts enter the Metro Athletic battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Cloverleaf tipped Buckeye (Medina, OH), 1-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Indians battle the Coventry Comets (Akron, OH) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 7. Northwest will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Comets enter the battle with a 0-5 record after their 11-0 league loss to Field (Mogadore, OH).
