The Jets now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to San Leandro for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 5. Encinal will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Newark Memorial (Newark, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Pinole Valley drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Albany (Albany, CA) to clash with the Cougars in a bout on Monday, September 9. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 6-2. Albany won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Terra Linda (San Rafael, CA)
