Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Bullitt Central Cougars (Shepherdsville, KY) and the host Larue County Hawks (Hodgenville, KY), saw Bullitt Central's soccer squad hold off Larue County by a count of 4-3.

The Cougars (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Moore (Louisville, KY). The Mustangs enter the District 23 battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Moore was edged by DuPont Manual (Louisville, KY), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Hawks confront the John Hardin Bulldogs (Elizabethtown, KY) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 5. Larue County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 3-4 record after their 2-1 league loss to North Hardin (Radcliff, KY).
