In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Chaparral Lobos (Chaparral, NM) soccer team edged the host Mayfield Trojans (Las Cruces, NM), by a count of 3-2.
Next, the Lobos battle the Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 5. Chaparral will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 5-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM).
