The Cross Lanes Christian Warriors soccer team (Charleston, WV), was overwhelmed 9-3 in Tuesday's non-league match with the visiting Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV)

With the triumph, Nitro moves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host PikeView (Princeton, WV) to meet the Panthers in a non-league match on Saturday, September 7. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 5-1. PikeView won 10-0 in their recent league match against Bluefield (Bluefield, WV)

The Warriors now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Teays Valley Christian for a WVCAT match on Thursday, September 5. Cross Lanes Christian will meet a Lions team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Buffalo (Buffalo, WV). The Lions record now stands at 1-1.
