Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Durango Demons (Durango, CO) and the host Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM), saw Durango's soccer squad knock off Farmington by a count of 4-2.

The Demons (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Palisade (Palisade, CO). The Bulldogs enter the 5A/4A Southwestern battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Palisade by Grand Junction Central (Grand Junction, CO), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Scorpions confront the Bayfield Wolverines (Bayfield, CO) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 7. Farmington will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Wolverines enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Basalt (Basalt, CO).
