North Carolina High School Soccer - Hickory Ridge nudges Independence

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Independence Patriots.

The Ragin' Bulls (6-0) will now prepare for their outing against A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Wonders go into the Greater Metro 4A outing with a 2-4 record. In their last outing, A.L. Brown got by North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC), 1-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Patriots confront the Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 9. Independence will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Pirates go into the outing with a 7-2 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Parkwood (Monroe, NC).
