The Lincolnton Wolves soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting West Iredell Warriors to 3 in the Wolves non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Wolves now hold a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Bunker Hill for a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A bout on Monday, September 16. Lincolnton will play a Bears squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Bears record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, West Iredell moves to 1-5 on the year. The Warriors travel to North Wilkes (Hays, NC) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 4. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 2-4. North Wilkes won 5-2 in their recent non-league bout against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC)
