Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Palisades Pirates (Kintnersville, PA) and the visiting Plumstead Christian (Plumsteadville, PA), saw Palisades's soccer squad hold off Plumstead Christian by a count of 2-1.

The Pirates (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA). The Tigers enter the Colonial battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Northwestern Lehigh tipped Jim Thorpe (Jim Thorpe, PA), 6-2, in a league battle.

Next up, the confront the Faith Christian Academy Lions (Sellersville, PA) in a Bicentennial - Constitution battle, on Thursday, September 12. Plumstead Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
