In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Tri-Valley Scotties soccer squad scored a tight 6-1 victory over the Sheridan Generals.

The Scotties (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against New Philadelphia (New Philadelphia, OH). The Quakers go into the non-league outing with a 0-5 record. In their last outing, New Philadelphia was overwhelmed by North (Akron, OH), 3-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Generals confront the Philo Electrics (Duncan Falls, OH) in a Muskingum Valley outing, on Thursday, September 5. Sheridan will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Electrics go into the outing with a 2-2 record after their 5-1 league loss to Morgan (McConnelsville, OH).
