Colorado High School Softball - Alameda bounces Aurora Central

The Alameda Pirates softball team scored 17 runs and held the host Aurora Central Trojans to 4 in the Pirates non-league win on Tuesday.

The Pirates now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arvada for a 4A/3A Frontier battle on Thursday, September 5. Alameda will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 18-3 league win over Platte Canyon (Bailey, CO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Aurora Central moves to 2-5 on the season. The Trojans travel to Thornton (Thornton, CO) to confront the Trojans in a 4A/3A Colorado battle on Thursday, September 5. The Trojans come into the battle with a record of 1-7. Thornton won 12-0 in their recent league battle against Skyview (Thornton, CO)
