The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Bellevue East Chieftains (Bellevue, NE) and the visiting Fremont Tigers (Fremont, NE), observed Bellevue East's softball team notch a victory over Fremont by a final score of 8-0.

The Chieftains (5-2) will now prepare for their bout against Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE). The Warriors go into the non-league bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Omaha Westside gained a win over Gretna East (Gretna, NE), 8-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Lincoln East Spartans (Lincoln, NE) in a A District bout, on Thursday, September 5. Fremont will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 12-4 league win over Lincoln Northeast (Lincoln, NE).
