The Lovejoy Wildcats softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Warriors to 0 in the Wildcats non-league win on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northgate for a 5A Region 3 battle on Thursday, September 5. Lovejoy will confront a Vikings team coming off a 11-2 league win over Newnan (Newnan, GA). The Vikings record now stands at 11-2.

With the loss, KIPP Atlanta Collegiate moves to 2-7 on the season. The Warriors host Lovett (Atlanta, GA) to confront the Lions in a 2A Region 5 battle on Wednesday, September 4. The Lions come into the battle with a record of 4-8. Lovett lost 7-2 in their recent non-league battle against Westminster (Atlanta, GA)
