The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Monarch Coyotes (Louisville, CO) and the visiting Longmont Trojans (Longmont, CO), observed Monarch's softball team get by Longmont by a tally of 10-9.

The Coyotes (5-4) will now prepare for their bout against Regis Jesuit (Aurora, CO). The Raiders go into the non-league bout with a 1-6 record. In their last bout, Regis Jesuit tipped Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO), 13-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Horizon Hawks (Thornton, CO) in a 5A/4A/3A Granite Peaks bout, on Thursday, September 5. Longmont will attempt to advance on its 6-3 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 13-2 league win over Fairview (Boulder, CO).
