The Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) volleyball knocked off the visiting Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM), 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Chargers now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Bernalillo for a non-league bout on Friday, September 6. Albuquerque Academy will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Taos (Taos, NM). The Spartans record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Sandia drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Matadors host Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league bout on Friday, September 6.
