Atholton Raiders (Columbia, MD) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Westminster Owls (Westminster, MD), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Atholton improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Raiders travel to Howard (Ellicott City, MD) to face the Lions in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Lions go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Owls now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. James for a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. Westminster will face a Saints squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Berkeley Springs (Berkeley Springs, WV). The Saints record now stands at 1-0.
