In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Belen Eagles volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Espanola Valley Sundevils.

The Eagles (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Cottonwood Classical Prep (Albuquerque, NM). The Coyotes come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Cottonwood Classical Prep was nudged by West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Sundevils play the Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Espanola Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Taos (Taos, NM).
