The Cowboys (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Forestburg (Forestburg, TX). The Longhorns enter the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Forestburg was beaten by Savoy (Savoy, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Strawn Greyhounds (Strawn, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 7. Santo will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Greyhounds enter the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Hico (Hico, TX).
