In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Central of Clay County Volunteers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Woodland Bobcats.
The Volunteers (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Briarwood Christian (Birmingham, AL). The Lions enter the non-league challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Briarwood Christian was beaten by St. Paul's Episcopal (Mobile, AL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bobcats meet the Saks Wildcats (Anniston, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Woodland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Weaver (Weaver, AL).
