The Minden Whippets (Minden, NE) volleyball knocked off the host Chase County Longhorns (Imperial, NE), 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Whippets now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Lexington for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 5. Minden will clash with a Minutemen team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Cozad (Cozad, NE). The Minutemen record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Chase County drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Hastings (Hastings, NE) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 7. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 0-4. Hastings lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE)
