In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Eureka Hornets volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Olympia Spartans.

The Hornets (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Flanagan-Cornell (Flanagan, IL). The Falcons enter the Heart of Illinois challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Flanagan-Cornell fell by Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL), 2-0, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Olympia drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Spartans host Clinton (Clinton, IL) to clash with the Maroons in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 5. The Maroons come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Clinton lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against El Paso-Gridley (El Paso, IL)
