White Oak Roughnecks (White Oak, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Gilmer Buckeyes (Gilmer, TX), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, White Oak improves its record to 16-13 on the season. The Roughnecks host Hallsville (Hallsville, TX) to encounter the Bobcats in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 13-9. Hallsville won 3-0 in their recent league test against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, TX)

The Buckeyes now own a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bullard for a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. Gilmer will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Spring Hill (Longview, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 9-11.
