Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Haralson County Rebels (Tallapoosa, GA) and the host Kendrick Cherokees (Columbus, GA), observed Haralson County's volleyball team top Kendrick by a count of 2-0.

The Rebels (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Temple (Temple, GA). The Tigers enter the 1A Area 6 contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Temple was knocked off by Whitefield Academy (Mableton, GA), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Cherokees meet the Spencer Greenwave (Columbus, GA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 5. Kendrick will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Greenwave enter the contest with a 4-13 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Jordan (Columbus, GA).
