Mechanicsville Mustangs (Mechanicsville, VA) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Thomas Dale Knights (Chester, VA), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Mechanicsville advances its record to 1-6 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Armstrong (Richmond, VA) to face the Wildcats in a Capital test on Thursday, September 5. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Knights now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Monacan for a non-league test on Monday, September 9. Thomas Dale will face a Chiefs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Cosby (Midlothian, VA). The Chiefs record now stands at 1-3.
