The Montgomery County Indians topped the visiting Whitley County Colonels volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.

Next up, the Indians face the Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY) in a District 40 game, on Wednesday, September 4. Montgomery County will attempt to advance on its 8-4 season record. The Colonels go into the game with a 6-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY).

The Colonels (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Williamsburg (Williamsburg, KY). The Yellow Jackets go into the District 50 game with a 8-2 record. In their last game, Williamsburg went down by Corbin (Corbin, KY), 3-0, in a league game.
