California High School Volleyball - Pioneer over Woodland

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Pioneer Patriots (Woodland, CA) and the host Woodland Wolves (Woodland, CA), observed Pioneer's volleyball team top Woodland by a count of 3-0.

The Patriots (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against River Valley (Yuba City, CA). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, River Valley was knocked off by Colusa (Colusa, CA), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Wolves battle the Casa Roble Rams (Orangevale, CA) in a Golden Empire League contest, on Thursday, September 5. Woodland will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 1-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Foothill (Sacramento, CA).
