Wayne Blue Devils (Wayne, NE) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host West Holt Huskies (Atkinson, NE), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Wayne improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Lutheran-Northeast (Norfolk, NE) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 1-5. Lutheran-Northeast lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Cedar Catholic (Hartington, NE)

The Huskies now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burwell for a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. West Holt will face a Longhorns squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Elgin/Pope John (Elgin, NE). The Longhorns record now stands at 1-3.
