The Pinnacle Panthers baseball team scored 19 runs and held the host Merit Preparatory Academy Knights to 2 in the Panthers non-league win on Wednesday.

The Panthers now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Green River for a 1A - South outing on Friday, September 5. Pinnacle will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Valley (Orderville, UT). The Pirates record now stands at 2-8.

The Knights (0-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Draper APA (Draper, UT). The Eagles go into the 2A Fall challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Draper APA thwarted Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams (Lehi, UT), 25-4, in a league challenge.
