Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Eastmark Firebirds (Mesa, AZ) and the host Mica Mountain Thunderbolts (Tucson, AZ), observed Eastmark's volleyball team top Mica Mountain by a count of 2-0.

The Firebirds (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Arizona College Prep (Chandler, AZ). The Knights go into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Arizona College Prep was defeated by Basha (Chandler, AZ), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Thunderbolts now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Salpointe Catholic for a challenge on Tuesday, September 23.
