California High School Flag Football - Alameda sneaks past Branham

The Alameda Hornets flag football squad scored 12 points and limited the host Branham Bruins to 6 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Hornets now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Heritage for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 6. Alameda will face a Patriots team coming off a 13-7 league loss to Liberty (Brentwood, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 1-1.
The Bruins (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against King City (King City, CA). The Mustangs go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, King City was edged by Carmel (Carmel, CA), 14-12, in a league challenge.
