In their next game, the Trailblazers face the Mountain Range Mustangs (Westminster, CO) in a 5A/4A Northern Colorado challenge, on Friday, September 5. Overland will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 31-6 league loss to Legacy (Broomfield, CO).

With the defeat, Eagle Ridge Academy drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Warriors host Poudre School District (Fort Collins, CO) to meet the Stars in a 5A/4A Northern Colorado test on Saturday, September 6. The Stars come into the test with a record of 2-0. Poudre School District won 25-0 in their recent non-league test against Mountain Range (Westminster, CO)
